Hello World! Happy Monday! Are we ready to hit another week? I'm all rested and ready to go after my little beach get away last week. I got a bee in my bonnet and finally finished the chalkboard drawer. Here's what she looks like now.
This is what she looked like before a little paint.
The color just wasn't my cup of tea. Last Sunday before we left for the beach, I ran by Goodwill since I was out running errands. Here are just a couple of things I came away with.
Two little metal stars priced $0.99 for both. Again, not quite digging the colors, but that's easily fixed.
I painted the chalkboard drawer with some white paint I had left over from the kitchen cabinets. And, I painted the purple star with some Stratford Blue paint I had left over from the studio, dining room and kitchen.
Chalkboard drawer $7.99. Little metal star $0.50. Paint I had on hand. Not a bad little deal. I'll be back soon to show you what else I found at Goodwill. Have a good day and remember to be kind to one another.
Toodles,
Kathryn
