Hello World! It's the start of a brand new week and another painting project. It's a small project, but it does require the emptying of a china hutch and moving it off of the wall. Anyhoo, I thought I would show you where the little table I recently reworked with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint ended up. There was a small debate about her placement, but all has been squared away. Without further ado, here she is with a few more things added to her.
How do you like Chang? That's what we call him. A gift from my dear friend, Connie, when she moved to Kansas City and she was purging her house for her move.
Wrapped a box in tissue paper. The Dedicated Husband thinks it is too wrinkly. That's the Marine in him talking. I like the wrinkles.
The red book is one of my favorite books in the world. It is "My French Life" by Vicki Archer. Fantastic! The photography is breathtaking.
I eventually want a bigger picture to hang on the wall in place of The Dedicated Daughter's 2 month old picture. Just haven't found the right piece yet.
She sits just to the left of the fireplace. Don't worry, I have a chest picked out for the spot I took her photos in. The chest is much bigger and will help to bring the eye down from my soaring walls. Stay tuned. I will also have pics of the room that is getting some new paint. Have a good rest of the day and remember to be kind to one another.
Toodles,
The table looks great! I just received an email that ASCP will be delivered to my lovely little hands on Wednesday. I ordered Old White can't wait to get it. I love all the back stories in your post :)
ReplyDeleteI love the finish on the table! It looks so soft and "worn" (but in a good way!) I think you did a great job with decorating it as well.
