Christmas Gold

Hello World!  It's no secret I love gold.  And my love of gold extended into my Christmas decor this year.  Especially in the Family Room.

 A handful of golden ornaments placed into a pedestal bowl surrounded by bits of red and pine cones.

 Remember the skinny Christmas tree quest?  This lovely was purchased from At Home.  Her size is perfect and her branches are full.  Best of all, she is nestled into a golden container tinged with black.

She fits perfectly into the corner.  

 No need to worry about brushing up against branches when entering the room.

 A simple gold star rests atop surrounded by little golden bits I've added.

 She looks lovely next to the gold and glass tables.

 Laden with white lights, golden ornaments and beads.

On the other table there is a departure from the gold.

 How perfectly she fits in her corner overseeing the Family Room.

We are off to fine start to the holiday season.  The house is almost decorated.  I must work on the banister and more garlands around the house.  Oh, and of course, Little Dedicated's tree in her bedroom.  This weekend should see the wrap up of the decorating.  Mr. Dedicated will be handling the outside and I will work on the porch.
