Sunday Showcase from Make it Pretty Monday

Hello World!  Well, we put an offer on a house that we both loved, however, the seller got a little greedy since she had two offers on the table to choose from.  She wanted a free leaseback in addition to everything else that we had already offered.  We were all for a leaseback, but not for free.  I would NEVER ask for someone else to pay our way at the expense of the new owner!  You take care of your own!  Needless, to say, we didn't agree to a free leaseback.  She really left a bad taste in my mouth.  So, we are back to the drawing board.  Which is fine by me.  God has a place for us that will fit our current needs and our future needs.  

We close on our house on May 12th and we are waiting to hear back from the buyers to see if they will agree to a leaseback until the end of school.  If not, we will put everything in storage and head to my Mom's house.  Her house is not big, but we can make due.  Plus, that will give us more time to be really thorough.  The market right now is a sellers market.  Our house was only on the market 4 days before we had 4 offers.  So, stuff is getting snatched up fast.  You will be surprised at what we are looking at for a new home.  No more soaring ceilings and I'm leaning towards super traditional.  I see bathroom renovations in my future.  LOL!  And, on a side note, all of this running around and eating on the go has made me actually lose about 5 pounds.  Unbelievable!  I'll take it though!
