Christmas in the Dining Room

Hello World!  As a few of my followers know, I was up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep.  A perfect time to respond to the 100+ emails.  This is the last week Little Dedicated is in school and I'm trying to get as much done as possible.  Today I've got a voice student coming over for a lesson, Christmas shopping for Mr. Dedicated, and try to get all of the wee ones presents wrapped.  The big push is definitely on.

I thought I would show you the Dining Room Christmas decor and a couple of pics of my porch  which doesn't have much in the way of decor.  However, get ready for a ton of pictures of the dining room.

Yes, you do spy something pink.  I'm breaking all kinds of rules this year.

I thought if I like to mix gold and silver why not put a large pink ornament in the mix.  This was a gift from my nephew and his wife.  Isn't it fun?  It will eventually go in Little Dedicated's room, but not until she outgrows the urge to pick this sucker up and hurl it across the room.  It is breakable by the way.

 Pardon the cords.

I made the wreath last year and completely forgot to show it to you.  My last wreath literally fell apart.  So this was a quick one of ornaments, mesh, and ribbon

I hoped you enjoyed the dining room decor.  Check back on Saturday for some vignettes and the family room tree.  Off I go!

Have a lovely day and remember to be kind to one another!  Fear Not!

Toodles,
Kathryn

  1. Your dining room looks wonderful. Although I don't decorate in blue for the holidays, I really love it! Maybe sometime! I like the burst of pink on that gorgeous pink ornament, because it is different it really jumps out at me in a very good way. I am in love with the gold mirror. Merry Christmas!

  3. Kathryn I love the color on your dining room walls! And that it looks like wood grain. Is that a stippled effect or walltpaper? Your white tree is beautiful, nothing like having a meal with a tree in the room. And that pink ornament is a pretty touch. Every time I see your blue Christmas decor I wish I had at least one room in it. I do have blue delft and blue willow in my red living room but I'm loving the more delicate blues.
