Football, Football, and Football

Hello World!  Here in Texas, football is a huge thing.  We love our teams, NFL, college and definitely high school.  Friday nights in Texas are definitely known to be football nights as all of the local high school teams take the field.  Saturday is for our beloved college teams across the nation.  And, then Sunday, Monday and Thursday for our favorite NFL teams.

How do you watch your favorite teams?  Do you go it alone or do you hang out with a group of friends gathered around a big screen?  Or, are you a fan among fans that loves to go to the games?

If you prefer to head to the stadium for the big game, you know that there is always a tailgate party that happens before and sometimes after the game.  The packing for the tailgate can be quite the task, because you want to make sure you have everything you need for a successful tailgate.  Tarps, chairs, tables for all of the food, iceboxes, utensils, plates, cups, napkins, ice, and of course the all important food and drink.  Whatever you bring, you want to make sure you have all that you need to make your game day experience exactly what you want.

Yeah for football and yeah for tailgates!  Thanks for popping in to take a look.  Have a fabulous day and remember to be kind to one another!
Fear Not!

Toodles,
Kathryn

  1. We love our football, too! Don't go to the high school games anymore since our kids graduated several years ago but we do watch our college games...sometimes live, mostly by TV and sometimes with the kids and their families or by ourselves. Hubby played at Oklahoma State so that is our favorite college team. and school tradition for scoring is Bullet (the horse) being ridden across the field, "pistols" firing and fans doing the "waving wheat" (moving our uplifted arms back and forth).
We don't have a professional team but we have our favorites that we watch on Sunday and during the week. Yep, we love our football!!
