Make it Pretty Monday - Week 62

Hello World!  Thank you for all of the kind words regarding the passing of my dear friend, Kristin.  They were very appreciated.  However, another passing may happen this week.  Berlioz, our 17 year old cat is getting weaker and has quit eating and is not moving from her spot.  She is still drinking water.  I thought she would pass last night, but she seemed to rally a little this morning.  I'll keep you posted.  She's been such a sweet and lovely cat, but I know she's tired and ready to go.

Now, onto the kitten update.  They will be 6 weeks old tomorrow.  They are running around the first floor of our house, but have yet to venture up the stairs.  I'm sure that will happen in the next couple of weeks once they discover them.  Here they are in all of their cuteness.  The baby gate is now a climbing apparatus.

Oh, they are a ton of fun and very sweet as well.  They all three love to be held especially the black one.  We'll have them for another 6 weeks.  Little Cozette, the kitten in the middle will be staying with us.  The boys will be heading to my Mother-in-law's house.

Okay, on with the party.  Welcome to Week 62 of:

I am so sorry to hear about your cat. I had to say good-bye to one of ours last year, and that was pain. Still cannot help crying when I think of him. Hope your cute kitties will help you ease your pain.

I am sorry about your cat...it is so hard to lose a pet even if they are old and ready to go. I lost one of mine - she was 15. The kittens are adorable. I hope the one you keep will help ease the pain of losing the other.

    Hugs,
    Cecilia

  34. Oh Kathryn...my sweet little Sophie is now 18 y/o, and is doing amazingly well for such an old lady. I think that the age of our cats tells a lot on how much they were loved over the years. :) What fun you have to look forward to having a kitten in your household now, though. Lots of laughs for sure. :)

Thank you for including my barn door in your features this week! :)
