Hello World! And, before you even ask, no I'm not finished with the little intricate chest. However, I thought I would give you a little look at her.
The scroll detail appears on three sides of the chest. The solid side is her backside.
See the little line of "balls" in the upper left hand corner of the picture? That was her original state.
A close-up of the scroll detail. To be honest I'm glad there are only three sides of this. It has taken me forever.
Her pretty little legs. I've got a little bit of filling to do, as well as touch up paint and then I've decided to add some dark wax to give her more depth. The white I may leave matte or I may give her a little shine. Not sure yet.
So, what do you think of the little intricate chest? She's definitely pretty, but I've had to be really patient with her.

It looks beautiful, Kathryn! I love the blue and how you used the white to enhance the details. I think the wax will give it a nice finish. Can't wait to see the finished picture!
