Spring Has Sprung

Hello World!  No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth.  I've been working on another valance which I hope to have finished this week as well as some embroidery work on some wall hangings that will go up in the Dedicated Daughter's room.  However, the last couple of days have been spent in the back garden pulling weeds and getting the flower beds ready for their Spring dose of mulch.  We're also getting the vegetable garden ready for planting.  So, my legs are quite sore with all the squatting.  Anyhoo, here are a few pictures I snapped of the patio flowers as well as a couple of bed pictures.  Spring has sprung here!  Yay!

How do you like my bright blue swing?  

Our morning ritual.  She swings while I watch from the patio with a warm cup of tea. That's an orange tree behind her.  We have two orange trees, two lemon trees and one key lime tree.  They are pretty young and haven't produced yet.  Really looking forward to picking my own fruit.  I love this time of year.  I have so much more to do in the gardens to get them looking full and happy.
