More Than a Foot Stool

Hello World!  Please do not fall off your chairs.  Two posts in two days!  I'm just as shocked.  So, yesterday was a rainy day and The Dedicated Daughter was off to Mother's Day Out, which means time to myself.  Let's just say I got a wild hair and tackled this...

Can we get a collective "Eeewww"?  Disgusting little stool that is covered with apple juice stains.  Don't ask me how an apple juice stain got on the side of the foot stool.  It's magic.

I had some fabric left over from the valance project and I thought instead of getting rid of said stool I would cover said stool.  Here she is.

Does it open? Why, yes it does.  What's in it?  Toys, toys, toys.  So much more than a foot stool.

The Dedicated Daughter could care less that I recovered the box.  But, I believe if we would have tossed it, we would have definitely heard about it.  I didn't want to toss it either.  It's my foot stool for relaxing.  Now my house has a definite multiple color disorder.  I would really love to recover the gold chairs, but I don't think I want to tackle this on my own.  Fortunately, I know where to take them.  Just waiting on the funds.  Got to teach more voice lessons.

That's it for today.  Thank you for the visit.  I hope the rest of your day is grand.  And, remember, be kind to one another.

Toodles,
Kathryn
