A Look Back at 2011

Hello World!  Happy New Year!  I really cannot believe we have hit 2012.  It just seems that it was yesterday that I was planning my life and now I'm in the middle of it.  I hope all my lovely readers had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season.  Here at The Dedicated House we celebrated quietly.  However, I will tell you that I'm now blogging using my new MacBook Pro!  Yay!  It is absolutely wonderful!  I thought for the first post of 2012 I would do a look back at all the projects that have been completed here at The Dedicated House.  First up, we have the little pedestal table painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White and Napoleon Blue.

New paint in the family room and entry way.  Shabby Chic by Benjamin Moore.

Paint in the Dedicated Daughter's room.
Painted kitchen and breakfast room as well as newly painted kitchen cabinets.

Another table painted with Annie Sloan Old White and Dark Wax.

New paint in the dining room.
 Newly painted Goodwill mirror.
New paint in the voice studio as well as a gallery wall.
The post that received the most page views was the little $15.00 Goodwill chest painted ASCP Old White and Dark Wax.
 Finials painted Anduze style.
 Candle holder makeover.
 "Martina" the Ballard Design console.
 Decorating above the refrigerator.
The media center built, installed, and painted.
Thank goodness it was a productive year.  This year we have some plans, but nothing major... at least that's what I have planned.  Which of course is subject to change.  Thank you for all of the support over the last 6 months.  I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  As always, thank you for the visit. Have a grand evening and remember to be kind to one another.

Toodles,
Kathryn

  1. My favourite was the Anduze style finials. I still haven't painted mine yet, but it's still school holidays so there is still hope that I will get them done yet!! Happy New Year:)
