Hello World! Since we've been watching a lot of the Tinkerbell movies, they got me thinking about Peter Pan and London. So, today for Trippin' It Tuesday, let's jet off to London, England. I have visited this wonderful city and will definitely take the family back for a lovely tour. I know I was chatty on yesterday's post, so today I'll shut my mouth and let the pictures do the talking.

I know this was a super brief tour. There is so much to see in and around London. Have you been? If you haven't, put it on your list of places to go. One tip, it is great to have a schedule of all the places you want to see once you get there. But, make sure you have one day where you can just meander throughout the city with no particular destination involved. I try to do this when I visit places I've never been. I have been amazed at the wonderful things I've stumbled upon. Be sure though to take a city map with you. You don't want to get completely lost. Been there, done that!

Wow!! Are these your personal photos? Stunning!!
ReplyDeleteThe only time I have spent in London was on our way home from Moscow, Russia and we landed at London City Airport and had to get to the other airport which was a looooooong ways away. We decided to take the train...bad choice...and we ended up finally getting to the other airport but there were NO hotels nearby to stay at...they were all full. We were exhausted and ended up staying the night in the airport. I would love to go back and make London a more pleasant experience. It is so beautiful there.
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my doilies and old books from the estate sale! Yes, I have been to London and I love it so much - we stayed in a hotel right near the Tower Bridge, we visited the Tower (love the jewels!). Saw Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey - oh I love everything British! Thanks so much for bringing back great memories.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mary
I have only passed through the airport in London. I would love some time to stay and visit. I would like to see the Westminster Abbey.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week.
great photos!! they make me want to travel more!! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI have been to London and it's my favorite (away from home) place in the world! I also long to go back and take my daughter. We've been talking about it a lot this week after meeting two of the sweetest older gentlemen from London who are here tooting their horns for the Salvation Army, just delightful fellows with their delightful accents. We'd like to keep them, we could use a couple of great grandpas, but I'm sure their families are eagerly awaiting their return home in time for Christmas. Thanks for the pictures which bring back memories and show me a few places I haven't yet seen. Mary
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite cities! My hubby is from the UK and we went a few years ago and I can't wait to go back. I loved Soho food and my absolute favorite stop was The Tower of London!

Hi Kathryn! Gorgeous photos of London. My hubby and I have been wanting to go ever since I found out, through my genealogy hobby, that his direct ancestor was the High Sheriff of London! Who knew? lol Thanks so much for linking up at Transformed Tuesday. I appreciate you so much and can't wait to see what you've been up to every week. Hugs, Peggy
