Goodwill Finds

Hello World!  Thought I would show you what I bought on a recent trip to Goodwill.  Some things will need some Dedicated Loving, some things I'll probably just clean up a bit.  So, let's get started, shall we?
Nice picture for the dining room.  The frame will definitely get a little loving. Price paid:  $4.00.

Will clean this one up a bit, but no changes.  Price paid:  $6.00.

Bulletin board will get some attention.  Price paid:  $0.79.

Little chalkboard with drawer.  This didn't even make it to the shelves in Goodwill.  The sweet Goodwill lady had a cart full of just priced merchandise that she was going to put out on the shelves.  I snatched if from her cart before anyone else could get it. Will change the paint color.  Price paid:  $7.99.

Wall stand may get some paint.  Price paid:  $1.99.  Candle holder, no changes.  Price paid:  $1.99.

Little up close shot.

Silver platter in really good shape.  Price paid:  $6.99.

Nice details.

Picture frame that holds 3 pictures.  Frame will get some attention.  That is the plastic wrap that is hanging off.  This piece is bigger than it looks in this picture.  Price paid:  $6.99.

A smattering of picture frames.  All in excellent condition.  Price paid for each:  $1.99.  They were marked $3.99, but they were discounted at the register.  Score.

No changes to the blue and white, but I will paint the goldish one.

May or may not change.  Like the details.

Didn't get these lovelies at Goodwill.  The Dedicated Daughter with her Dedicated Cousin, Grant and two of their friends at the beach.

I've got a lot of work to do, but it's happy work.  Enjoy the rest of your day and remember to be kind to one another.

Toodles,
Kathryn

  3. Kathryn, so very nice meeting you as you're my kind of girl!! You're the treasure hunter kind, like me, I can't let things I like pass me by, specially if they're bargains, like what you found! I love them all, specially that big picture frame, and the smaller ones...I love family pics. The candle holder and silver dish, a total treasure...but the biggest treasure you got is that gorgeous little girl! I'm your newest follower as well, thank you for your visit and lovely comments! Lots of hugs. FABBY

  24. Hi Kathryn, I’m Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com), and I’m visiting from the More the Merrier Monday.

Wow, some really great finds! Especially that chalkboard piece, I just love that. I hope you get around to posting how things look after you've given them "a little love"!

Anyway, thanks for posting this. If you’ve never visited yet, I hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…

  25. I get so excited when I see the treasures people find at thrift stores. Either I don't have the eye or pick the wrong day to go because I rarely come home with treasures. I'll keep looking.
