Hello World! Since I'm busy trying to get the kitchen cabinets finished, this post will probably be a little short. Ha! We'll see. Several of my lovely friends wanted to know what the Shabby Chic by Benjamin Moore looked like in the family room and entry way.
Here are a few pictures with the ever wonderful builder's beige on the wall. (Please read that dripping with sarcasm).
I guess you figured out, I always forget to take before pictures. Focus on the walls and the entertainment center.
See how open it is? It's open on both sides.
Notice the entertainment center? I designed the piece and had it custom made. Just waiting on the cabinet doors and drawer faces. The drawers hold all of our dvd's. When it is all finished, everything will be nicely tucked away.
Love these chairs! They are extemely comfortable. They will be getting a new facelift and will be making their appearance in another room.
We really like the color and I can't wait to get new furniture and get curtains made. So much to do! Hope you enjoyed looking at our massive walls! Have a wonderful day and remember to be kind to one another!
Toodles,
Kathy it looks great.

Great home! Pinned and tweeted. Thank you so much for bringing such a masterpiece to our party. I hope to see you tonight at 7 pm. We can’t wait to party with you! Lou Lou Girls
ReplyDeleteYou are a woman with a mission! lol! I have the beige walls as well. Not ready to undertake that job just yet. lol! I hear you about the open space and large walls. Our home is like that and they are a little difficult to work with. Our open home works wonderfully when all the kids and grands come over, but I must admit, no matter how much I try you can not get the same coziness as you do with a home that has walls. Love the new paint color! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
