Hello World! I have a budding artist on my hands with Little Dedicated. She loves to color, draw, and paint. I thought as she grew up, she would lose interest and pursue other artistic outlets. But, I have come to realize that she is quite good at drawing and painting and will only continue to work at her art. In the past, we purchased inexpensive canvas from a local craft store to see how she liked painting on canvas. Of course, she loved it.
So, it got me thinking that I might need to look into purchasing higher quality canvas when she gets older and if she decides to continue with her painting.
Of course, I head to the internet. Who knew there was such a huge selection. I sure didn't. This is a whole new world for me. I can paint a wall and a piece of furniture, but that is where my artistic painting prowess ends.
Just a little window shopping on the internet to see what is out there. In the future, if her passion continues, we may have to look into lessons. For now we will buy canvas and supplies and unlock her imagination. The array of canvas and art supplies is a little overwhelming. I love discovering new things; especially, if it is for Little Dedicated.
Do you have any artists in the family? I would love to hear all about them.
Thank you for popping in for a visit. Go with God and remember to be kind to one another.
Toodles,
Kathryn,
ReplyDeleteI adore the fact that you are encouraging Little Dedicated One to continue with her interest in painting!!!
No one ever encouraged my interest with art. To this day, I still draw stick people!!!
They did, however encourage my interest in Music. . .and I'm still vocalizing!!!
Private lessons were "the best" thing my parents sacrificed for me!!!
Fondly,
Pat
We also have her in piano and she is quite good at it as well. That little girl has been blessed in her capabilities to learn! Have a great day! Toodles, Kathryn
