Erin Condren Planner Review

Hello World!  I started using an Erin Condren Planner for my blog, family schedule and personal schedule last year.  For 2016, I ordered another EC Planner and wanted to give you the rundown of the features.

They have several planners to choose from, but I tend to gravitate to anything with gold in the design.  I ordered the black and gold planner and had it personalized with "TDH" for The Dedicated House.

Whereas the Start Planner is a bit all business the Erin Condren planner is a mixture of fun and business.  When you open the planner, there is a pretty protective sheet covering the personal info page.

Forgot to point out the fun gold elastic band that holds it all together when not in use.  Trust me, when I say I love this band.  Several times I've gone looking for the band only to discover I had put it in my hair.  It works well for a headband as well.  Talk about versatile.

This planner is a simple planner.  This year, I'm using it only for my blog schedule, notes, Little Dedicated's schedule and my schedule.

It has a snap in ruler/bookmark to help you find your spot quickly.

The planner comes with blank stickers as well as some event stickers.

Like any good planner, it has a generous note section.

The event stickers are fabulous.  Some events are: Vote, birthday, game day, concert, mani/pedi, etc.

There is a section in the back with blank stickers.  These stickers really are amazing.  They can be reused a couple of times and still retain their sticky quality.

A great 2-sided folder is in the back with a calendar booklet that you can take with you on the go.

The folder is followed by a clear pouch to hold pens, coil clips, and whatnots.

Check out the video below for all the goodies.

Right after I ordered my planner which is the Vertical Weekly Layout, Erin Condren introduced the Hourly Weekly Layout.  To be honest, I really like the Vertical Layout and will keep that even for next year.

The fun thing about the Erin Condren Planner is that the covers are interchangeable.  This was the planner I used for 2015.  When I tire of the black and gold, I can take it off and attach the teal and gold to my current planner.

Here's another one I ordered and had personalized.

Now the Erin Condren Planner isn't as extensive as the Start Planner, but I like using it for a broad look at my week and month, whereas the Start Planner is perfect for the daily running of my life.  I use the EC Planner to jot down ideas for the blog, house and life plans...a broad look at things.  The Start Planner is being used for the day to day working out of schedules, goals, projects and dreams.

Head to Erin Condren to check out the entire planner line as well as a ton of accessories.

  2. I am going to have to check these out! As much as I like the convenience of a computer calendar, I am still 'old school' in that I like a planner you can write in. I haven't been able to find one I have been happy with, but this might be the answer! Thank you so much for sharing over at Celebrate Your Story! I know from following The Dedicated House that you have lots of great stories to share!

  6. Kathryn, I started using an Erin Condren planner last fall and I love it. Reminds me of the old days when we all carried our day planners everywhere. Thanks for all the good info at Your Inspired Design Link Party #21.
