More Staging in the Staging Your Home Series

Hello World!  As promised, here are more staged rooms in our house.  These are rooms I have never showed you.  But, now is the time.

This is the hallway that is right off of the Family room.  To the left is the laundry room, straight ahead is a full guest bath, and to the right is the office.

Special note for bathrooms:  When showing your house, pull the shower curtain back so potential buyers will not need to pull the curtain back to access the water.  Also, it will give the potential buyers the opportunity to see your squeaky clean tub.  Take up all bath mats.  It gives it a cleaner look.

During showings it is okay to keep a hand towel and a soap dispenser out.  Other than that, it needs to be a clean slate.

I did leave up decorative towels and non-personal pictures.

This shot is from the listing.

The laundry room needs to be clean and neat with no clothes even in the hampers.  Straight ahead is the dryer with shelving above.

To the left as you enter the laundry room is the washing machine with more shelving above.

Here is the shot from the listing.  See the kitty box on the floor in the cubby?  The laundry room is situated underneath the stairs.  So, it's not a big space, but it gets the job done.

Turning around in the hallway, the laundry room will now be on the right, family room is to the right and the master bedroom is straight ahead.

Looking into the hallway from the family room are two art niches that are side by side.  I left up two pictures for the showings that of course will be coming with us.

Looking into the Master Bedroom from the hallway.  The backyard is just beyond.

Beds must be made and dressers, chests, and bedside tables must be cleaned off.

The master bath is straight through the french doors.

Here is the shot from the listing.

Another view of the room from the listing.

Master Bath:  beyond the mirrored doors is the closet.

 Shower and garden tub.

Decorative towels hang above the tub.  The blinds are open for all the showings.

His and her vanity.  Again a clean slate.

Picture from the listing.  Again, no bath mats.

Shot of the vanity and storage from the listing.

So, there you have it; the guest bath, laundry room, master bedroom, and master bathroom all staged.

  1. Very pretty home! I like those niches and the nice sized master bath and bedroom. I can't believe you have to empty off everything in the bedroom from the surfaces of the furniture. It's crazy how much trouble a person has to go to to garner the attention of a buyer! Looks like all the prep paid off though so I guess it's all worth it!
