Arborist Safety Equipment and Gear

Hello World!  With all of the houses we've looked at to purchase I cannot help but to take a close look at the landscaping and definitely the placement of the trees.  I have seen some trees that definitely need some trimming.  Some of them could potentially be dangerous to trim.  Therefore, safety would be quite the concern.

Professionals that are required to climb buildings, trees and other structures must be equipped with the right type of safety gear and supplies. For example, arbor specialists are assigned different tasks that involve climbing tall trees. These assignments may involve trimming or cutting down tree branches and other parts. Additionally, rescue missions may also be done by arbor technicians. For example, a kitten may get stuck on top of a tall tree and refuse to come down. Fortunately, arbor professionals have the skills and equipment to successfully rescue any pets that are stranded on trees.

A hard hat provides plenty of safety for anyone that climbs trees or other structures. Such a hat is made of high quality plastic that resists any dents from bumps and falling objects. Hard hats are typically made of extruded materials that make it possible to produce a hollow design. Therefore, such hats are relatively lightweight. Straps may be used to secure safety headgear directly onto the head. Some protective headgear may also have small visors to prevent objects and other debris from getting onto the face. Additionally, safety glasses should also be worn along hard hats when climbing trees. Climbing helmets are also available in bright colors to create visibility that can be used to alert authorities and other rescue efforts nearby.

Climbing equipment is used to provide leverage for going up and down trees. For example, a system of ropes, lines and pulleys is used to safely move along tree trunks and branches.

Thank you for popping in for a visit!  Have a happy day and remember to be kind to one another!  Joy to the Full!
