"Honey, There's a Clog in the Sink!"

Hello World!  When sinks clog and toilets backfire, you need to know that you're handing over the reins to someone who can really get the job done. Here are a few tips for finding the right plumber no matter where you live.

Keep Your Search Narrow
Don't start your hunt by looking at the prices and promises of plumbers outside your city. Their rates might not match yours; those delivery times may only apply to neighborhoods without your level of traffic. If you want a drain specialist in Houston, look specifically for drain repair companies in Houston. If you're searching for Lubbock plumbing services, plug that phrase, location and all, into your search engine.

Compare and Contrast
How much does Plumber A charge in comparison to Plumber B? What does the more expensive company offer than the other doesn't? Lower quotes don't necessarily mean a better business, so you'll need to judge based on other factors as well, including years of experience, types of services offered, expected completion times, et cetera.

Examine Their Accreditation
Who gave them permission to work as plumbers in your state? Are they registered with any plumbing associations? Where did they go to school, and what kind of training have they received? You don't want to trust your pipes to an amateur, so make sure their background lives up to their advertising claims.

Look At Reviews
If you're trying to decide between several plumbers, let the deciding vote come from the general public. A reputable company should have plenty of past reviews on third-party websites that you can analyze. Let any tiebreakers be decided by the business with the most positive, appreciative customer ratings.

Thanks for popping in for a visit!  Have a great evening and remember to be kind to one another!  Joy to the Full!

Toodles,
Kathryn

  2. Couldn't agree more. Clogs and drains do need professional assistance. It might be charming to pull out the blockage, though it's still more advisable to entrust the process to those who are more experienced.
