Hello World! How is everyone this fine and cold morning? It is quite chilly here in Texas. We try to enjoy the cold when we have it because soon enough we will have 90+ degree heat.
Last week's party was quite the intimate affair, but that doesn't mean it was short on inspiration. Welcome to Week 40 of:
Anything Blue Friday
My Favorite
Poppy View gave us a lovely look at the Christmas blue in this pretty and cozy room. What a gorgeous fire!

I can see why Botanic Bleu was your favorite last week. Beautiful table with just a hint of blue in the pretty seat cushions.

A Debbie-Dabble Christmas took us with her as she toured the Country Folk Store. I love the prancing reindeer.

Look at these way too cute DIY Mason Trees that MinettesMaze brought to the party. Pop on over to her site to see how she created these cuties.

Look at the lovely Polish Pottery that was on display at the Regensburg Christmas Market that The Rococo Roamer visited. You must pay her a visit to see the other pretties that she posted.

It is a little chilly here today but nothing like in Maine where we usually are this time of year. This Houston weather I can take! It's always a pleasure to be here, Kathryn....thanks.
ReplyDeleteOh my, amazing features dear Kathryn...I'm gonna check them out! My tablecloth has blue flowers and so does my dishes, so I am entitled to join, LOL! Big hugs and have a fun first weekend of 2014!

Thanks for the feature of the Polish Pottery. It was an English women selling Polish Pottery at a German Christmas Market. Strange.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year Kathryn, I am still buzzing from receiving my first DSLR for my blog and have linked up some photos of Poppy, my little Schnoodle taken on my bed in front of my Blue, old French shutters. I am thrilled with the results, hope your readers enjoy her. I also linked up a post I wrote on blue interiors over Christmas, I hadn't realised you were still doing your link ups so just added a link back to your blog on it and linked up here. Now I will go and browse some of the links above.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the hosted parties in 2014, I hope to join more this year.
Lee :)
Kathryn, What an honor to be the featured favorite of the readers! There was so little blue in the post overall that I almost didn't link it up. Besides the blue cushions, there are a few glimpses of the little old blue high chair in the background.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting Anything Blue Friday. I love blue, and most of the time my posts are filled with blue since my house is filled with blue. I always find other bloggers who give me great inspiration with the blues they feature.
Looking forward to another blue-filled year in 2014,
Judith
Thanks for the lovely features & for hosting & God bless!

It is hard to find "blue" food, but I linked up a blue jean quilt! Happy New Year! May it be filled with God's blessings!

ReplyDeleteWe've had warm days (40) and blue skies but today the temps are dropping big time - tho still much warmer than many back East! Praying for safety for all, looking forward to spring, and having fun INSIDE today with grandkids, apps, and dedecorating. Have a lovely week!
