Hello World! Today's Before and After comes from Gloria who can be found at
Resourceful Gals. Recently she sent me this lovely little before and after that she worked up. It's a cardigan refashion. Here is the finished product.

How cute is that.
Gloria loves to refashion a sweater into a cardigan and she was sweet enough to show us the process. Here's a shot of what she used in order to do just that.
All you will need is a pullover sweater, fabric, interfacing, snaps, and matching thread. Gloria, what a great transformation.
So if you have a ton of pullover sweaters that you aren't wearing, but you would wear them if they were cardigans, pop on over to Resourceful Gals to check out the tutorial and then get busy.
Thank you, Gloria for sharing with us your beautiful refashion. Now, the rest of you, if any of you have any before and after projects that you would love to get featured, email them to thededicatedhouse@gmail.com and in the subject line, please put Before and After Wednesday. It can be any before and after: gardening, furniture redo, room makeover, complete renovation, sewing repurpose. Anything with a before and after.
***Also, if any of you pretties have started working on your Fall decor projects, please start sending them to me. Any holiday Before and After, even from the past will do. For example: wreath creations, centerpieces, decor. Just make sure there is a before pic of the "naked piece" (naked table to fabulous tablescape, naked Christmas tree to decked out beauty, naked wreath to beautiful filled in wreath)...you get the picture. I'm compiling a file for the upcoming holidays so that we have a ton of inspiration to see us through the seasons on Before and After Wednesday.***
And, if you haven't added your inspiration yet, Make it Pretty Monday is still live. Click here to head on over. And, don't forget Anything Blue Friday for all of your blue inspiration. Click here to scooch on over to that party. And, last, but certainly not least, if you missed the top 4 Fan Faves from last week's party, click here to pop on over to the Sunday Showcase.
Thank you for checking out Gloria's refashion! Have a pretty rest of the day and remember to be kind to one another! Fear Not!
Toodles,
Kathryn

Sharing this with these lovely parties:
Well that is talent. I can hardly sew at all. What a great way to re-purpose a sweater. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty
Thanks for sharing. I love what Gloria did to the sweater. I love cardigans, but am not crazy about pull over sweaters. In fact, I gave several away to Goodwill recently. I am going to have to try this on one of mine!
