Hello World! Summer is upon us and it is time to turn our attention to summer fun and getaways. This summer here at The Dedicated House we will be heading down to the Gulf coast for three days to get our fun tank filled up. But, next year, is the big trip! We will be taking a roadtrip to the Sunshine State...Florida! We will be hitting Disney World of course as well as numerous other spots along the way and in and around Florida. Plus, we will pop in and see my big brother who lives in Florida and let the little cousins get acquainted.
There is so much to do in Florida! I've been to Florida three times and each time I really didn't want to go home. The first time was when I was in high school and I went with a church group to Disney World. Second time, as a opera singer, I had made the finals of the Miami Opera's Vocal Competition. Miami...what a place! Third time, as a voice teacher, chaperoning a high school choir that was singing in a music festival at Disney World. I have such great memories of all three trips that it would be hard to pick my favorite.
Ponce de Leon explored Florida back in 1513. So to celebrate 500 years, VISIT FLORIDA is giving away a trip every week in 2013! You heard me! A trip every week. Click the link for your chance to win a fabulous trip to one of my favorite spots on earth. Florida’s 500 Years of Adventure Sweepstakes
