The Gray and White Chest

Hello World!  As promised, here is the little chest that I have finally finished sans a knob.  But, I wanted you to see what she looks like.  I'm so glad to be finished with her.  Anyhoo, here she is.

Do you think she's pretty?  Now for what she looked like after I brought her home from the Resale shop.

Below is the first paint job that I wasn't completely happy with.

I decided I wanted to go with a color that had more gray in it and instead of a creamy white, I went with a pure white.

 Pretty details.

Need to get a knob for the drawer.

Scrollwork detail.  It's pretty, but it was a pain in the you know where to paint.

What do you think?  I've also been shopping for some more home decor items.  Hopefully, I will find some time to take pictures and show them off to you.  Anyhoo, have a great rest of the night and remember to be kind to one another!  Fear Not!

Toodles,
Kathryn

  8. Very pretty, Kathryn! I love the colors you used on it. That scrollwork is wonderful. It's funny, I was thinking what a pain that must have been to paint. : ) It was well worth your time and effort though!
