Hello World! What do you have going on this weekend? Anything productive or fun? We are just going to hang out, do laundry, go to the gym...you know, the norm. Are you ready to see my
Big Christmas Gift?
Could you just squeal? Ballard Designs Chianni Trestle Table and Dorchester Bench.
Let me remind you what was in here before.
I still have the table. It's currently in the craft room where no crafts happen. The Dedicated Daughter has started calling it the Blog Office. Cutie pie! The table is fantastic, but it is small and needs some repair which is on the ever growing list of things to do.
It was super hard to get a good shot. The light was pouring in and that was with the blinds closed. You can see I left the Martin console from Ballard Designs in front of the window. It's so nice to have a place to hold placemats and napkins, instead of taking up valuable kitchen drawer space.
Here's a close-up of the bench. I want to eventually get a cushion for her. The cushion will only be for looks, because this bench is super comfortable!
We will eventually get new chairs. But, these do just fine for now.
This table is perfect for us. It is a little narrow which I actually like for the space and with the leaf it can seat up to 10 people.
I adore her big 'ole fat legs.
So, how do you like her? Isn't she dreamy? Anyhoo, now you see why the big sideboard had to find a new home in the Family Room.
That's it for this week. Make it Pretty Monday is still live for one more day. Click here to join in the fun and to take a look at all the creative and inspirational ideas that have been linked up. Don't forget to throw your hat in the ring for the two giveaways that are open right now. Click here for the Quadra Fire Notebook, and click here for the cute monthly bibs.
Have a fabulous weekend and remember to be kind to one another! Fear Not!

What a difference that white table makes! You are going to have so much fun with that, my mind is spinning with all the tablescapes and centerpieces you can do with that beautiful white table. Love the bench too! And it's great that you could re-purpose the old table to your craft room, where I bet you WILL put it to good use!
