Hello World! There is a lot of moving going on around here. Mind you, not moving of houses, but the moving of furniture and what nots. I wanted to show you some really lovely Christmas gifts I received from my family this year. They know how much I love lanterns and my blue/white/beige color scheme; so I believe they definitely had that in mind when shopping. Nor would they tell me where they purchased them. My guess is Home Decor and Hobby Lobby. Let me know what you think.
I'm pleased to introduce my Lumière Display!
I love the details and the rustic look it has.
Okay, so this isn't a lantern, but it fit right in with the next piece you will see further down. Isn't she lovely? Will eventually put her on the floor with a lovely plant on her after The Dedicated Daughter is a little older. Or I might just leave her here.
So very pretty and delicate. I adore her shape and her pretty bird and butterfly motif.
I don't think I showed our family rules sign that Andrea made for me. We try to recite it everyday to keep the guidelines fresh in our memory.
The second lantern to make a pair. Just a different color and fragrance of candle inside.
Such a lovely glow they cast.
What do you think of my Lumière Display? Next week I will show you some of the moving around that has been going on. You might have already guessed a little. Thank you for popping in for a visit! If you're looking for Make it Pretty Monday she's still hopping right along. This week might be her biggest turnout yet. Click here to go straight to the bash. Have a pretty rest of the day and remember to be kind to one another! Fear Not!

I LOVE that your family recites the rules. This is a fantastic idea. There is power in the spoken word - our words bring life. What a great opportunity to have your family speak these rules into your lives. It also demonstrates self-discipline.

I love it all! My mom sent me a similar lantern for my birthday and it arrived bent and smashed to pieces - looked like an elephant had stepped on it...
ReplyDeleteSigh. I know you will be enjoying yours! Hope you can stop by the enchanted oven for a visit.
