Hello World! Get ready for some picture overload. Here is this year's Christmas banister. The color scheme is blue, white, gold and silver. Yes, I'm one of those people who mixes her metals. On with the show.
Look another project. Touch up the baseboards. Doesn't that sound like fun?
You can see the 16 yr. old cat, Berlioz snoozing under the tree.
Up she goes.
While I was at it, I thought I would decorate the top of the china hutch that sits in the entryway.
Everything I used I had on had. The ornaments are all plastic, so no worries if one falls. The only thing that would possibly put me in a tail spin is if a strand of lights went out. Now, that would not be fun.
Have you decorated your banister? Hope everyone has a grand evening and remember to be kind to one another.
Toodles,
Kathryn

Love the blue and silver. Blue is my most favorite color of all! Your banister looks beautiful. I can see you have worked very hard!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. And yes, I decorate mine about every other year - last year I finally had to throw away all those supplies, they were just tattered and worn. You've inspired me - I better make sure I get it done this year.
ReplyDeleteI always liked mixed metals! And the colors are so rich ... I noticed the cat right away - I have a cat so I guess that's why I caught it. I also noticed I'm on your followers twice. I can't figure out how to fix that - other than deleting and refollowing. I've had some trouble with that following feature since I only use Google for following. I'll have to see what happens. Enjoyed the visit! Thanks, Jenn
ReplyDeleteWell...I was able to delete only one of my images from your followers. That makes the remaining one is an inactive image apparently. I have no idea what's up with that. I'm the black and white dog profile. On my blog list under google you're only listed one time . . .? I used the reader list to add your blog and you get a second image. I looked for an email on your blog and missed it if you have one. I have an email on my blog - let me know what you think - maybe I'll just leave it? Thanks, Jenn
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty! I don't have a banister, so I will just enjoy yours for today. Your cat looks so sweet sleeping under the Christmas tree.
