Hello World! Welcome to Day 4 of our fun and fabulous Christmas tour! It has been so amazing to look at all of the Christmas inspiration that has been shared. Now, it's my turn.
Today we are heading into the hearth room. The hearth room Christmas decor is less formal than the family room Christmas decor. It's the place where I like to have my morning quiet time and oftentimes you can find me working away on my laptop while the sun streams in the French doors.
I moved the settee into the hearth room in front of the french doors to take advantage of the morning sun. Fortunately there is space behind the settee to open up the doors which happen to open out instead of in.

Angels reside on top of the Ballard Designs Martin Chest under the watchful eyes of Santa.

Ceramic Christmas trees nestled in a white bowl.
Little pretties sit on the built in cabinets in between the breakfast room and hearth room.
Ceramic deer in a grove of trees with the hearth room tree in the background.
My Mother made our stockings years ago and they have held up quite well.
Bad blogger for not lighting the candle.
The mantel is full of greens, ornaments, stocking holders and lights.
The sun was pouring in the day I took pictures. It was so bright I couldn't get a decent wide shot of the room.
Now, off you go to the next stops on the tour.

ReplyDeleteYour hearth room looks beautiful for Christmas! I am intrigued by the cabin your grandmother made. It's perfect with the little snowman and tree.

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!!
Kathryn, your hearth room is beautiful. All of that glorious sunshine sure lights up all of your prettiness! I love the sign on your piano...it reminded me of the hymn Holy, Holy, Holy we used to sing when we were little! It was one of my favorites! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful room...so many neat decorations, most especially Camille :^)
ReplyDeleteI did smile when I saw your nice neat piano (loved the sign by the way)...I did the decorations on top of ours the other day, but it is such a hard working instrument (I am a music minister) that you can barely see the décor for all of the paper/books/etc., on the rack :^)
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely decorations!!
Blessings,
J
