What Speaks Comfort to You?

Hello World!  As we embark upon the holiday season, it is a great time to reflect on what means comfort to you.  Comfort means different things for different people.  For me, it's quite simple.
God, family, food, and a welcoming home.

Let's start with this: my family.  There is nothing better than the end of the day when I can welcome Little Dedicated home from school and Mr. Dedicated home from work.

I'm so blessed to have such a great husband who works tirelessly so that I can stay home and be here for Little Dedicated.

Most nights I cook, but sometimes I take a break from the time and mess and pop some pot pies into the oven.  Pair them with a healthy salad and you have a great meal. Marie Callender's is my favorite choice for chicken pot pies.

Not only is Mr. Dedicated a great husband and father, he is a former Marine who served in Desert Storm.  The people who serve our country are courageous and selfless and deserve all of our support.

I’m partnering with Marie Callender’s to share with you a simple way to support the troops right in the freezer aisle of your grocery store!  It's the Marie Callender's Comforts from Home Project.

Marie Callender’s offers a wide variety of meals and desserts made with high-quality ingredients and signature special touches that your family can slow down and savor together.

And this holiday season they are supporting our troops through their Comforts From Home Project which is a partnership with the USO Celebration program that offers military personnel the comforts of home including seasonal meals, entrainment and a home away from home while these brave individuals are away from their families. This is even more important during the holidays.

So, how can you help bring the comforts of home to the brave men and women of the U.S. military?  Now through January 29, 2016 look for specially marked packages of Marie Callender’s products that have the red, white and blue Support Our Troops logo on the box.  Once you've made your purchases, flip the box over, visit the website and enter the code. That’s it!

For every entry by 1/29/2016 of an 8-digit code found on participating products, Marie Callender’s will donate $0.50 to the USO Operation Celebration program. Guaranteed minimum donation: $100,000. Maximum donation: $300,000. Limit 5 code entries per person/computer each day. Valid in U.S. Only.

Below is a screen shot I took of the website.  It's super easy to use!

Thank you to our military who step in the middle of harms way to protect us!  Please join with me in thanking them and sending them the comforts of home this Fall and holiday season!

Have a beautiful day and remember to be kind to one another!
