Green Thumb with Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix Giveaway

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It's that time again.  Time to put on the gardening duds, roll up the sleeves, slip on some gardening gloves and get busy creating the gardens of our dreams.  Here at The Dedicated House, I work on the flower gardens and The Dedicated Husband works on the vegetable garden.  In the past, I've used Miracle Gro and have been quite successful.  But, this year, we are going to be using Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™

• Significantly improves soil for multiple years
• Concentrated planting mix expands up to 3X when water is added

It's So Easy To Be Green

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.  All opinions are 100% mine.  Spring has sprung!  As all of you know, I've been spending a lot of time in the yard.  But, my time is spent on the flower gardens, not on the grass.  Our grass is not bad, but there are spots in the yard where the grass could be more lush and green.
So, The Dedicated Husband and I have had a chat regarding our lovely grass and what to do about it.  Enter Scotts® Snap® Spreader System.
It takes all the mess and  guess work out of taking care of our yard!  The Snap Pac connects directly to the Snap Spreader – no cutting, no opening and no pouring from heavy bags – no spilling or waste!
So helpful for me.  I'm always spilling something. The system auto-sets the proper flow rate. No Spreader settings required! It also has a unique EdgeGuard feature that keeps product where you want it…. on the lawn!  When you’re done, the Snap Pac self-seals upon removal making it easy to store – No more half empty bags on the garage floor.  The organization freak in me loves this.
Who wouldn't want their lawn to look like this.  Can we all collectively sigh?
Don't just take my word for it.  Check out these lovely testimonials.

How fantastic is this!!  We've come such a long way in lawn care and Scotts is helping us every step.  I'm so excited about this product and what my lawn is going to look like.
Oh, and before I forget, make sure you go check Scotts Snap Spreader System on Facebook and "like" Snap Perks.  This way you can be in the know of Scotts great promotions and contests.
What do you say? Ready for your lawn to be lush and green?  Let Scotts help you along the way.
Wishing you a grand day and a greener lawn.  And, remember to be kind to one another.

A Little Spring Decor

Hello World!  I hope all had a wonderful weekend!  I'm getting over a cold, but I did manage to make it to a birthday party for one of The Dedicated Daughter's friends from ballet and tap.  It almost did me in.

I thought on this bright, Monday morning I would share some of the Spring decor that is scattered about the house and garden.  Beware, you might get a cramp in your hand from scrolling down so much due to too many pictures.  So, stop, go get a banana.  Let the scrolling begin.

As you enter the front door, you are greeted with a pretty Spring metal wreath.  Picked this up from a store here that specializes in outdoor/indoor decor such as flags, wreaths, mats, and little whatnots that can be placed around the garden.  The store is called "In the Wind".  So, if you are in the Houston area, drive out for a look around.  You will not be sorry.

Little bunny "eggs" I picked up a thousand years ago at Hallmark.

The "eggs" open up to reveal a little scene taking place inside of the flower shop.

Little stairs lead to a little door ready to welcome you.

 Nothing like being home.

The Dedicated Daughter loves to gently play with them.

Little Spring tree sits on the breakfast room table.

Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit gardeners.

Personalized Spring placemat.  Secretly, between us, I kinda want one myself.  I'm still a little girl at heart.

This indoor wreath, I purchased at In the Wind.  It's a metal wreath with decorative magnets that can be changed out for the holidays.

Simple Spring wreath hangs on the back door.

Little decorative stakes placed in the garden.

Another stake announcing an egg hunt.  Soon the back garden will be filled with goodies placed inside eggs for the young ones to find.  The young ones in our family range from 4 all the way up to 25.
I think it looks quite fetching sitting by the bright blue swing.  All outside decor was picked up at In the Wind.

A welcome sign nestled in the rosemary.

An Easter flag waving in the breeze.

I just had to get a shot of the amaryllis.  All of them have bloomed at the same time.

I know, a ton of pictures.  I couldn't resist.  This week I'm working on an outdoor project that I hope to have finished by Wednesday. Alright my little lovelies, thank you for the visit.  I hope you have a grand day!  And, remember to be kind to one another.
