How to Make a Beaded Christmas Tree
I think beaded Christmas trees are so sparkly and pretty. Some of them look like they would be very hard to make. I like crafts that are fairly easy to make, but still great to use for decoration.
First, you will need some red, beaded garland. I bought one that was 10ft. long and had some leftover.
You will also need a small, green, styrofoam cone, a pair of scissors, glue gun with glue sticks, some pretty red ribbon, and any embellishments you want to use. I think it would be just as pretty without the embellishments.
Heat up the glue gun and then start wrapping from the bottom, pulling tightly. The hot glue will slightly melt the styrofoam so you will be able to push the beads in slightly. You may want to use a Popsicle stick so you don't burn your fingers like I did!
Once you have the whole thing wrapped cut the garland and put a dab of glue on it. Then cut your ribbon to fit the bottom of your tree, the middle, and the top. For the very top of the tree cut a small piece of ribbon and glue on top. I used a pretty sparkly snowflake button I had for the top. I also used two more for the front of the tree. Now you have a beaded Christmas tree!
